Should you require urgent medical attention, please telephone the surgery on 0208 477 4317 Or 0208 709 1855 and your call will be re-directed to the Out of Hours services

Prescriptions/Sick Note/Letters/Referrals due to be collected on these days will be available from 08:30am the following morning.

If your problem is non urgent please try to wait until normal surgery hours and avoid using the emergency service. Generally the doctors use a deputising service, to provide out of hours EMERGENCY cover.

Your cooperation is appreciated for using this service only for serious problems which cannot wait until the next surgery. Calls dealing with minor problems may block the system and jeopardise patients who require lifesaving intervention.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111.Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

You can see a doctor or a nurse for the treatment of minor injuries and illnesses, seven days a week, at Upney Lane NHS Walk-in Centre, Upney Lane, Barking, IG11 9LX.

Opening times daily from 09:00 to 19:00.
